We founded Fortuna Ventures Group on a simple belief: fortune is not something that happens to you. With the right direction and the courage to move, it's something you steer.
In Roman belief, Fortuna governed fortune and fate. But she was never blind luck alone — she was most often shown holding a ship's rudder, a wheel, and a horn of plenty. She steered. We chose her because that is exactly how we see our work.
The rudder she holds: we help you choose a course and hold it.
Her swiftness: innovation and pace, because timing is fortune.
Her wheel: the cycles of growth, ridden upward with resilience.
Her horn of plenty: the durable growth that rewards bold, well-steered decisions.
Audentes Fortuna iuvat — fortune favors the bold. (Virgil, Aeneid)
We kept seeing the same thing from different seats. As business, technology and security leaders, we watched great companies held back by avoidable risk. As operators, we saw strategy stall for lack of execution. As investors, we met brilliant founders who stumbled on the operational basics.
So we built a firm that addresses all of it. Fortuna Ventures Group helps established organizations and entrepreneurs create executable strategy, master digital & operational risk, build high performance teams, and innovate for the products and technologies of tomorrow. The through-line is rigor: the same high standard applied whether we're reviewing a board's risk posture or signing a term sheet.
But rigor is only half of it. The rest is how we show up — as a small, high-trust team that deploys alongside you, carries the load, and treats your mission as our own.
"Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change."
Wayne Dyer — the perspective shift we exist to create
Engage Fortuna and you don't get a vendor. You get a small, elite unit that deploys alongside you — trusted advisors and sherpas who carry the load and don't leave your side until you've summited.
The standard of special operations: prepared, calm under pressure, mission first and ego last. We do the reps so the moment takes care of itself.
The habits of high-performance sport: relentless conditioning, marginal gains, and the will to deliver when it counts — repeatably.
We've made the climb before. We read the weather, carry the load, and guide you upward — the only summit we celebrate is yours.
The WON Team — we win as One.
We play to win as a team, not to play as individuals. All for one and one for all — dialed up, but grounded, never cultish. Everyone owns the mission. No one needs the spotlight. No one gets left behind.
We do the hard analytical work and we say what the evidence shows — even when it's not what anyone hoped to hear.
We sit on the same side of the table as our clients and founders, and we stay through the hard parts.
We move decisively when we believe — with advice, with execution, and with capital.
Independent counsel, no hidden incentives, and discretion you can rely on.
